Chef Lorianne Heyns abides by her philosophy to keep simple, creative, and seasonal, but flavour is king. She uses only the best of the best ingredients. Menus change seasonally with the focus on local, farm-fresh and natural produce. She loves textures, seasonal colours and flavours with undertones of our Cape Heritage food.
When you visit JÉAN, allow us to bring you food from the heart. Food that is not overly pretentious with schmears and foams but beautiful bring-down-the-house food with attitude. We’d love to surprise you with the ordinary and comfort you with familiar nostalgic heritage flavours. We move boundaries by cooking outside of the wire fences.
