A deadly Mexican concept place, alongside and a complement of the Hell's Kitchen folks. Outside and in, its a winner on the food and drinks side for the groups of tattooed hipsters with intelligent food taste.

Love the food and drinks. It can be a bit noisy later at night but it’s the perfect joint for a quick kuier with the friends after a busy week.

Beautiful venue with great decor. Food is not always consistent but when it’s good it’s really good. Service a little slow and restaurant links to Hell’s Kitchen so can be quite busy on the weekends

VERY NOISY!
SERVICE IS SHOCKING!
The staff talk about their "last free meal", around the bar while on duty.
THE FOOD:
- Half the chicken meals on the menu: not available.
- Jalapeno poppers must have been fried in cold oil. It was NOT AT ALL crispy, pale in color, chewy, soggy and pretty much still raw batter on the inside.
- Taco shells were soggy, the chicken strips was SO dry, it must have been fried 3 times.
- Ceviche salad: THIS IS NOT FRESH FISH as indicated on the menu. (I have plenty ceviche meals) and you can see this just looking at it. My salad was placed in a silver foil container in the same brown takeout bag as the hot food order. The salad was warm and was totally nausiating just looking at it!
NOT A PLACE TO EAT!!! Take your chances with one of the many other eateries down the lane.

Muerte means death in Spanish hence skull and grungy look theme of restaurant.Had a crumbed chicken taco which was nice ,not too dry and came with guacamole. Paired taco with fire in the mouth 3 amigos sauce which was tasty and definitely for fire seeking chilli addicts

This is by far our favorite Mexican eatery. We love their poppers and soft-shell tacos. Their cocktails are unique and really delicious too...here's the but...the service is almost non-existent. You will wait...for a long time...for everything. This combined with the slightly dark and somewhat unclean look (it is modelled on the Saint of Death after all) are the drawbacks. Knowing this - we still come because the food is just that good...pity the menu was not a bit more diverse, but we love it nonetheless.
