The Lund family approaches everything from wine-making to preparing food with their own brand of elegance and simplicity.

Start with salmon pâté, rich and yummy, served with crispy melba toast or order the picnic for two or four for a variety of goodies like olives, pesto, preserves, cheese and bread. Pizzas shaped in rough ovals, crisped to perfection, come with topping such as Parma ham and caramelised onion. Heartier fare, also from the pizza oven, is roast of the day, maybe spicy chicken with potatoes or slices of rare roast beef with Parmesan and rocket-exceptional. Refreshing salads picked from the garden balance the meal. Desserts change daily and cappuccino is served Newstead style: espresso accompanied by a pitcher of foamy hot milk.

The Newstead range is sophisticated, yet accessible offering clean, elegant, and enjoyable wines for every occasion. The award winning five varieties includes a celebration worthy MCC rosé. Newstead Sauvignon Blanc is an excellent example of the region's signature wine. Herb and spice infused gin cocktails including a mocktail flavoured with Elderflower, craft beer, and juices are listed in the offerings.
Best for long tables full of family and friends tasting everything on the menu.

From greeting to leaving, expect excellent service: attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. The pace is relaxed as everything is made to order.

The easy elegance of this comfortable farm house plunk in the middle of Newstead vineyards, can be enjoyed in the shelter of the pergola, at picnic tables under enormous umbrellas, or on the stoop, facing the vineyards. After lunch feel free to linger, perhaps taking coffee on the lawn or perching on a barstool at the gin and bubbly bar.

Best for...
Feasting at long tables.
