The cuisine at Riverside Restaurant is fashioned from organic produce from local markets and carefully prepared by their Chef. They cater to vegetarians, Halaal guests, gluten and wheat intolerant diners and all their veggies are organic. They change their menu regularly offering Farm to Fork fresh produce from our organic vegetable patch. For guests staying overnight we offer a four course set menu to encourage you to try new delights. We are flexible with dietary requirements.

The Picnic Site is in a unique setting. Nestled into the river bank, tucked under a thatch gazebo and protected by our river island on which Cape Clawless Otter hunt, you will recline in your sumptuous river boudoir, sip on Champagne and watch the river birds surf the rapids a few feet from the comfort of your lounger day bed. The luxury Rapids, Aphrodites, Ophelia’s and Fish Eagle picnic spots are surrounded by tall reeds and sheltered under an enclosed thatch Gazebo. The interiors are designed for romance with a comfortable double bed flop spot.
Gourmet picnic baskets are set up at a table under Caribbean umbrellas on a private stretch of river with abundant bird life where even the very shy and rarely seen African Finfoot has taken up residence.
