Yesterday me and my husband went for supper at Septimo Hated every moment we had to sit with menus for the whole 30min without anyone attending us after we finally got attended when we received our food it was thrown to us like they were giving dogs to eat we then later discovered a manager is the one who gave us the food so they was no one to complain to if a manager can treat customers like that what about the stuff very poor service received I don’t ever see my self going back there.

Worked there a whole month in the kitchen as a chef, was fired after head chef set up an employee to argue with me insult me, and get me fired because of that. Was Only Paid R1000 for working there a Whole month, bunch of criminal's . Especially the head chef there Andy was really racist towards me because I was Indian.

Ordered salmon and prawn rissoto and my husband ordered lamb shank. After about 5mins of eating I discovered a cockroach in my food. The supervisor was notified and after a 10min wait we were told thank you for not making a big scene with the other customers and we did not have to pay. So disgusted and felt like throwing up.

After a fabulous media lunch in October, I took my family out from the UK, including six year old nephew, for lunch at Septimo's a couple of weeks ago. The food, ambience and service was as good as I remembered. We had salad, two servings of bruschetta and two lots of zucchini fries (they're that good!). My nephew was enchanted with the fries - he had no idea he was eating vegetables! I had my usual Aperol spritzer and my sister enjoyed a cocktail from the new menu. It's a wonderful way to welcome people to Johannesburg, with an international feel and in the presence of the iconic Nelson Mandela statue.

Had a wonderful Sunday afternoon with family and friends visiting from New Zealand and from Dubai at Septimo. The chefs board starter platter has a variety of nibble such as dark meaty olives, a selection of meats and cheese, nuts, fresh warm breads and the table favorite being the picked aubergine.
3 of us ordered the mains special of the day fillet wrapped in phyllo pastry which is a must!! My friend ordered the clam creamy pasta and her husband ordered a pizza. Our waitress was very friendly, and kept the wine bottles chilled and ready to top us up. She did drop a couple of plates when she was clearing up but that happens.
Totally recommend this place for a night out with friends.
