If you love the smell of roosterkoek and blikbrood (made from stone-ground flour) then make this your roadside stop. Old-school tins are filled with crunchies, and beautiful display cabinets (including one for candy) hold things like peaches bottled in curry, olive salad sprinkle and guava and grape jam. The kudu pies are great, and the ostrich biltong hanging in a separate room is hard to resist. Eat your goodies on the lawn while being watched by peacocks.
