    A warm and friendly place, with an excellent staff and outstanding food at reasonable prices. What more could you wish for. They have a delightful courtyard where you can sit outside in good weather and do excellent evening meals on Friday and Saturday evenings. The menu caters for a variety of tastes and even accommodates those Banters who are trying to stick to their guns while eating out. You really can't go wrong here - one of the most consistently good places to eat In Hermanus!

    If had only one evening in Hermanus we would definitely spend it at the Cuckoo Tree. Great hospitality from the mother and daughter team and superb food - my Cape salmon was really fresh and cooked to perfection. The place doesn't look anything special from the outside but once inside you get a great culinary experience.
