Booked at the Deli Deck (Delcious)for lunch. I should have guessed when we walked in and at 12:45 we were the only people on a Saturday there. Other than the menu being extremely disappointing and misleading (picture of a french cut rack of lamb yet there's not lamb on the menu...?) the food was shocking. We both ordered The Rib eye steak which was tough and it appeared as if no effort had been put into making it. Next time slap a dead cow on my plate. With the write ups and reviews and reputation of the hotel and wedding venue you'd think that you'd have more than 3 choices of pasta sauce on your only choice of pasta tagliatelle with a choice of Arrabiata, Napoletana and Alfredo? I mean really, surely you can do better than that??? I have eaten at the Deli Deck before at Toadbury Hall and this is not how I remember it! I will tell you this much I will never go back there, not to mention the unfriendly waitresses that watch you stir you drink with a knife as no swizzle stick has been provided! Worst eating experience I have had in a long time. It was suppose to be a romantic date. Except for the nature surrounding Toadbury Hall I could have gone to Wimpy as I'm sure their steaks have a variety of sauce options and a little more effort goes into the preparation and presentation. When you ask for medium rare and get well done that says it all. You can get a steak chips and salad anywhere!!!!! Makes me question the quality of food and service at the main Resturant. I've been interested in trying the Moonlit dinner but after today's experience you won't catch me near Toadbury Hall Ever again!!!
Wedding Picnic for 20 people plus
Mothers day at the Deli was absolutely divine. Great atmosphere, friendly service, child friendly and the food was scrumptious.
    Will definitely be back!
