The smart way to win at the 2018 Best Everyday Eateries

The Best Everyday Eateries is all about diners having their say. Unfortunately, sometimes even after a fantastic experience, they forget that there are more ways to show their appreciation. So if you’re getting lots of great customer feedback but it doesn’t seem to lead to restaurant reviews, we have the fix.

Include this in your bill folder to remind diners right at the end of their experience to go straight home and write a review on our website (or even do it right there and then!). They can also leave a quick no-effort review using our free app. (Don’t have a traditional bill folder? No problem. Waitrons can remind diners at the end of their meal to write an Eat Out review. You could also paste the reminder somewhere in your restaurant.)

Reader reviews are vital in order to win at the Best Everyday Eateries, as restaurants that receive a large volume of high scores from fans will be visited by Eat Out’s professional critics, who will give their own ratings (if they haven’t already done so). Final results are then based on a 50-50 composite score from the public and the critics.

Remember, diners have until 31 August to cast their votes for this year’s awards by writing a review. Print yours now!
