News this week is that one of Cape Town’s most-beloved Blouberg eateries, Homespun By Matt, is opening a new branch. The Andros Boutique Hotel will be the location for what is sure to be an exciting addition to the Southern Suburbs restaurant scene.

Owner Matt Schreuder posted on social media saying: “After six fantastic years of Homespun in Blouberg, I have decided to take my passion to the next level and open the second Homespun at the stunning Andros Deluxe Boutique Hotel in Claremont.”

Eat Out readers have praised the Blouberg establishment, with reviewers saying things such as: “We did the tasting menu with wine pairing, and from the amuse-bouche to the dessert, it was like a visit to an art exhibition. Not only is the food divine but the whole experience including Matt’s interaction is memorable.”

Homespun By Matt at The Andros Hotel will open on 18 June 2021 and will be trading from Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. Reservations can be made online.
