Food

Farro is a fabulous family-friendly restaurant on Gabriëlskloof wine estate. Originally based in Joburg, husband-and-wife duo Alex and Eloise Windebank conducted a series of pop-ups in the Western Cape before eventually settling in their new Bot Rivier home.

Farro is all about simple food prepared perfectly. The duck parfait is exceptional, the crispiest brioche paired with the creamiest parfait and a seasonal preserved purée. For mains, opt for the green pea risotto or the pork belly with ratatouille. All ingredients are locally sourced, adding to the experience.

Last but not least, you can’t skip the chocolate cream dessert that will have you returning time and time again.

Drinks

Gabriëlskloof wines are available, with a great variety to suit all dishes and price ranges.
