Food is very good - especially the burgers and pizzas. Cocktails are also great. And the specials make some of the meals very reasonable - and cheaper than eating at home. One of the best burger/pizza restaurants in Cape Town

ROC burger was very good, sweet potato chips were amazing. Pizza was okay. A pity that the waitering staff were so inattentive at the beginning. 7 MInutes before we received our menu. Another 6 minutes before our drinks order was taken. Admittedly, service improved afterwards.

Delicious burgers & pizzas at this unpretentious place in Newlands. Loved the onion rings and sweet potato fries. Reasonably-priced wine list. Only downside is the acoustics - when full, it's hard to hear your dining companions.
As new places go one expected a lot more to go wrong. Admittedly, more training and just time will improve the service, however what Chris Augostatus has done in transforming the old Scuzzie's on Dean into a contemporary venue is fantastic. Excellent craft beers, pizzas and burgers.... no scrimping on portion sizes either, with a decent wine selection. Chris comes from years up the N1 at Magnifico, and there's no doubt he will continue to add a great venue in the southern suburbs.
