A tiny, little, warm restaurant in the fancy Bryanston shopping centre Nicolway. I love that there's parking right outside the restaurant so you can be quite close.
The place is tiny and well lit, with great decor. It's all very minimal but quite posh.
The service was great. Shy, polite gentlemen who are not too imposing. They attend to you at regular intervals, so you don't have to be looking around whenever you need something done.
The food was edible. Nothing different from the other restaurants that serve indian cuisine. The curry had great flavours. I had expected a much bigger kick though. Naan bread was awesome, brushed with traditiona Indian ghee. What was really amazing, and a new experience were the desserts. Ice-cream with pistachio and coconut and amarula flavoured cream. The carrot pudding was quite an adventure to the tastebuds. This should always be served with vanilla ice-cream.
