Tiger’s Milk is a Cape Town export that’s found a home in Bryanston. Offering breakfast, wood-fired pizza, Tex-Mex, salads, steaks and wings, the gastropub is arguably best known for its towering burgers. Even if you’re not vegetarian, you’ll enjoy the flavoursome The Pretender, comprising a crunchy lentil, bean and nut patty with avocado and vegan mayo. Order the hand-cut fries as a side and ask for a small container of the truffle-infused mushroom sauce as a dip. Take advantage of the 2-for-1 burger special on Mondays.

Don’t forget to ask for garlic if you order a pizza, which is perfectly executed on a crispy thin crust with fresh toppings. Other options include nachos, pork, beef or chicken tacos and a selection of kick-starters that range from southern-fried wings, succulent fried calamari with roasted garlic aioli and chipotle chicken livers.

For dessert, choose the Jack Daniel’s sundae of mousse, vanilla bean ice cream, whisky caramel and peanut brittle, the bread-and-butter pudding baked in cinnamon-vanilla custard and raisins, or the cheesecake with berry coulis, vanilla crumble and ice cream.

Prompt service, with food coming out quickly.

A relaxed setting offering high seats, outdoor loungers and more intimate tables for smaller groups.

A catchup and farewell with friends. Sitting outside in the fresh air is always a good idea. Tiger's Milk still has a good selection on their menu. I had the Crazy Cranbucha (Skyy Vodka, Green tea kombucha, Cranberry, Passion fruit and Elderflower) to drink along with a Rockstar Burger - Bacon, Cheese and Guacamole Burger with Zucchini. As a side I automatically assumed its fried Zucchini. To my disappointment I received the smallest side salad in this massive bowl.🤔 next time I am asking what Zucchini it is. Our waitress was great, and service with a smile. #TheFoodMusketeer #TheFoodMusketeerEats #TheFoodMusketeerDrinks #TFMTigersMilk
Great View, nice vibe and great Cocktails, but the burgers my partner and I ordered were dry and average at best. I would definitely go back for just drinks and the vibe.
Lovely evening, service and food at Tiger's Milk. So nice to sit outside and have a bit of a view.
The food is generally good although the options are rather limited. Tiger's Milk is always busy - no matter what time you go so the device can be on the poor side and you can wait a while to be seated.
