One of the most-anticipated Special Awards at the Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards each year is the Eat Out Woolworths Financial Services Chef of the Year award. This year, Johannes Richter from The LivingRoom at Summerhill Guest Estate took the honour home for the second consecutive year.  

The criteria for the award highlight a chef who is a leading culinary voice; who not only excels in the culinary arts but makes a positive impact on the broader restaurant industry in South Africa. It is an award that recognises creativity, passion and a genuine commitment to driving the local food scene forward.
