Join an interactive dining experience with 3 renowned SA chefs

One extraordinary night of food, the chance to cook alongside celebrated kitchen masters, and the opportunity to support aspiring young chefs: does it get any better?

On Saturday 6 November, The Chef’s Studio, in partnership with the Eat Out Food School, will be hosting an interactive dining experience that includes live chef demonstrations, a cookalong and a five-course gourmand menu that will leave your taste buds crying for more.

Best of all: the profits will be donated to the Eat Out Food School – an initiative that aims to rebuild South Africa’s restaurant industry and address rising unemployment exacerbated by the pandemic by upskilling disadvantaged youth.

Chef-patron Matt Manning will be presenting a menu that consists of the most popular dishes from his interactive events at The Chef’s Studio, while celebrity chef Pete Goffe-Wood and award-winning food author Jason Whitehead join him in the kitchen.

Guests will enjoy live demos from three of South Africa’s finest kitchen masters before being split into teams and challenged to recreate the dishes on their own.

Finally, they can kick back and relax with an inspired five-course menu, that will include their own masterpieces.

The foodie fundraising evening will culminate in a competition, where prizes will be awarded to the creators of the best dishes. There will also be a mini auction where delectable goodies are up for grabs.

The Eat Out Food School opened its doors in February 2021 to 15 passionate youth, eager to kickstart their careers in the restaurant industry, with a fully funded one-year learnership.
